Not as good as a gourmet dessert, but not too bad. I love PB though, so anything made with PB wins me over. (FYI I love PB so much that I do not keep it in the house. There have been weeks where I eat an entire jar bc I have a couple spoonfuls a day...NOT OK)
You will need:
- Natural PB
- Splenda
- Vanilla
- Salt
- egg
Directions:
- preheat oven to 350
- Mix 1 c. PB, 1 c. Splenda, 1 tsp Vanilla, 1 egg, and a dash of salt together in a bowl
- Spoon balls of the dough onto the lightly greased cookie sheets.
- Press a fork on top of each ball.
- Bake for approx 10 minutes. I just watched them to know when.
I had two tonight. They were pretty good! I did the math and for 13 cookies (which is the number of cookies I made), each cookie was 108 calories and between 2 and 2.5 net carbs! If you are craving something sweet, give it a try !!
This is getting bookmarked! I'm in the midst of trying to get myself down to my BMI-appropriate weight but have the biggest sweet tooth on the planet. Many many thanks!
ReplyDeleteGood luck with your weightloss Stephen. I also find that a cup of lowfat cocoa helps my sweet tooth! Its usually only 3-4 carbs a cup depending on the brand you buy!
